Dentistry provides me with an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others by optimizing quality of care and comfort during treatment. It also allows me to interact and form long-lasting bonds with patients. I strongly believe that addressing poor habits early can prevent a lifetime of oral health issues and thus, am passionate about preventative dentistry and working with children.
Education and Experience
I grew up in Calgary, and earned my BSc in Biological Sciences with Distinction from the University of Calgary. I then went on to receive my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in 2013. Since graduation, I have partaken in various continuing education courses in my pursuit of clinical excellence. I am a member of both the Canadian Dental Association and the Alberta Dental Association, and also certified to provide nitrous and oral sedation.
Outside the Office
In my spare time, I like hiking in the Rockies during the summer, and doing yoga or catching up on TV series on Netflix in the winter. I also enjoy volunteering and have been involved in community programs such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters, SHINE Dentistry, etc. in the past.
